Organise camps in Switzerland
The FYSA seeks motivated young adults as main camp leaders, camp leaders and cooks for its summer and winter camps every year. By getting involved, you can be a part of helping young Swiss Abroad enjoy unforgettable holidays in Switzerland.
The FYSA offers you
- nine summer camps (end of June to end of August) and one winter camp (end of December to beginning of January) per year to participate in as a main camp leader, camp leader or cook.
- a unique volunteer opportunity in a multicultural, multilingual camp community in Switzerland.
- the possibility of performing your civilian service at one of our camps.
- a daily allowance of between CHF 50 and 100 per day plus your board, lodging and expenses during the camp.
- training and further education for your leadership activities.
The FYSA expects that as a camp leader you
- are at least 18 years old.
- speak at least two of our camp languages fluently (German, French, Italian, Spanish or English).
- enjoy looking after children and young people (aged 8 to 14).
- are a reliable, outgoing, flexible team player.
- are willing to plan and run a camp with a diverse leadership team of Swiss living in Switzerland and abroad.
- want to create an entertaining camp programme that is appropriate for the needs and ages of the participating children and young people.
