Would you like to run or help to run an international, multilingual camp?
SJAS gives you the chance to make an active contribution to camp life and introduce Switzerland in all its facets to young Swiss Abroad.

Training and further education

Our training courses will teach you the necessary expertise, social and leadership skills to prepare you for your responsibilities at camp.

Civilian service

The SJAS offers you short assignments of 15 to 26 days of civilian service, during which you plan and run multicultural, multilingual camps for young Swiss Abroad between the ages of 8 and 14.

More than 800'000 Swiss currently live abroad for shorter or longer periods of time, and the trend is growing. Identifying as a Swiss Abroad has a long history behind it, just as the camps run by the Foundation for young Swiss Abroad (SJAS) have a long history behind them.
